i was involved in a car accident last year while driving in a car that i was about to buy… took the car for a test drive , while i was trying to get out of my parking , some dude hit me by the back , his car had scratches and my car had scratches … he just told me he will fix my car , he took my information and i took his but i did not get his insurance information….the insurance of my car was on the seller names. the guy that hit me did not want me to call the police…
two weeks later his insurance agent called me and said they will fix his car but not fix mine because i did not have insurance …. but the guy told me he will my car out his pocket… i called him but he never pick up my phone calls
the worse iis that six months later a different agent callled me and said i should pay for 600 dollars for repairs … i was lost for a second and she told me she will take it to the dmv and get my licence suspended if i dont pay…. what should i do ? i bought the car now and insurance is on my name…
somebody help, i live in dallas

You cant do anything at this point because of the simple fact that you did not get a police report, its not what you want to hear but this always happens……..pay the tab and best of luck.

If there was no insurance on the car, YOU are responsible. You will have to pay, or get your license suspended. Your new insurance won’t cover the accident that happened, before you added the car to your policy.
