Ok so my boyfriend is driving from the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I am so scared that he will get in a deadly car accident or something will happen to him. His dad and step mom are driving and they are both good, careful drivers. It will probably rain a lot on the way. They are going in the beginning of July. I assume they are going through Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. I have two questions: What are the chances of him getting in an accident? Will he be okay?
I really need reassurance. I’m really scared and worried.
Thanks.
Also I am not jealous I am going to Disney World at the end of July. I am worried and I wish he was flying because planes are safer.
Only serious answers please.

This is completely ridiculous. He could get in an accident any day of the week. Get a grip. “probably rain”…. lame

Chill out a bit..Their are risks every day..A plane could crash just as easily as a car..Don’t think of the worse things that could happen..

it sounds to me like your worrying way to much. the chances of him gotting into a car accident arent very high. most likely he wont if they are careful drivers.dont worry about it. and if they are going in the beginning of july then tell him that your worried he will get into an accident.HE WILL BE OKAY!

Planes can be just as dangerous. Wasn’t it proven that driving is safer? Huh, can’t remember when i heard that. Anyway. If he and his family are careful drivers then good, they just have to do whatever they can. There isn’t much that they can do though, just obey the rules of el rode and be good. If they are fine, fine. If that’s the case it’s the other drivers you have to worry about. I’m sure they’ll be fine. We drove to Florida once. Took us 3 days. We were fine.

He is going to be just fine. We can all die at any moment from anything. If you don’t take chances then life isn’t worth living. Im sure you are causing yourself a lot of stress over this and its not worth it. No Im not saying you shouldn’t worry, lets face it worrying is a part of life. Everything is going to work out. Just say a little prayer with him before he goes.

Well, a few days before he leaves to go, you should talk to him and make sure he hs everything he needs, an emergency first aid kit, your phone number, his cell phone, etc. It’s not very likely for him to be in a deadly accident but minor accidents are possible. If you are really concerned about this, you should try to ask him to take a route that doesn’t go througt highways a lot (where people intend to speed more) but instead a route that goes through small towns where he is less likely to get into an accident.
Hope this helps!!

Sounds like you are being overanxious. There is no way to predict with any kind of certainty what the weather or road conditions will be this far in advance. Of course I don’t know absolutely that nothing will happen, but it is far more likely that nothing will happen to him. I have driven all over the east coast and never been in an accident (even in the rain and snow). The only accident I’ve ever had was within a block of my house, and it was only a fender bender. Do you worry like this all the time? If so, perhaps you should talk to someone about it.

Aw your worried about him, I get the same way sometimes about my boyfriend. Its perfectly normal to worry if you care about someone, dont stress yourself out about it chances are he will be FINE. Just call him a few times on his way there to reassure yourself hes fine.

Your boyfriend is in God’s hand. No one can determine this but God. I’m sure he’ll be okay though.
