I recieved a red light ticket for not stopping today. Will I get penalized on my insurance?

I have never been in a car accident and never had a ticket. Will this $75 ticket affect my Allstate insurance? I live in Dallas Texas

  It could…if they run your MVR (motor vehicle report). It is a moving violation.
